A day at the Charity Bazaar

Hi everyone! Wow, It has been years that I did not update my blog. Remembering those days where blogging is so popular and all of my friends and I will always made sure that we will update our blogs every single days no matter how busy we were. I'm in a long long holiday right now after the end of my foundation studies. I need to wait until October to enter into degree courses. So I have so much of free times right now. :D Just 30 minutes ago, I was looking for things to do while I suddenly have the urge to look back my blog. So, here am I. :)  Looking back to my previous old posts, it took me a trip down to the memory lane. All those funny, upsetting and ridiculous past memories flashed through my mind like a bullet train. I just felt so funny that why I have posted silly pictures like photos of cutting my fringe in my blog. Hahaha. Well, I have deleted it. Besides, reading through my old posts, I found lots of grammatical errors in it! Well, I remember the primary reason I started to blogging is to improve my poor English writing, and I think it really helps a lot in improving my English competency. Therefore, I decided to make a return to my blog again!

So I went to a charity bazaar which was held in SJK(C) Pekan Lama this morning. The motto of this charity fair is to raise funds to build an interior basketball field in the school. My dad has bought the coupons from his friends to show his support. When we stepped into the school, I was amazed by the big crowds in the charity fair. Seem like everyone is showing their big supports to the schools. All of the food stalls were placed at the canteen of the school. My family and I straight away headed to the canteen as we were so hungry and our stomachs were ringing like the school bell. There are around 30 foods stalls selling all kinds of food at there. Everyone at each stalls was shouting and cheering to attract more people to buy at their stalls. So we bought different kinds of foods and settled down at a coffee table to eat our brunch. The purpose of this fair is to raise funds, therefore, all of the foods and beverages sold are extremely expensive. I was asking to a young lady how much is the 'nasi ayam tomato' which can be referred as chicken rice. It was RM8 per packet. I was stunned like a vegetable. At last, I did not buy it. Hahaha. XD

After finished eating all the foods, we headed to the school hall to watch the talent shows performed by the students. One girl with cool cowboy style went up to the stage to sing a song. My mum and I were amazed by her voice! Her voice sounds so perfect that it is like the recording of the CD. Everyone in the hall was enjoying to her singing. After she sang for a few verses, she stopped singing out of the blue. What really surprised us is that the voice of singing is still playing. AHAH, the reason why she sounded so perfect is that the people who was in charge with the PA system has forgotten to switch the song into the karaoke mode. HAHAHA. However, there are still a lot of other amazing performances like belly dance, modern dance and cosplay. In case you don't know what is cosplay, cosplay is the practice of dressing up as a character from a film or video game, especially one from the Japanese genres of manga or anime. Most of them were wearing golden hair wigs which are exactly the same like the hairstyles of Japanese anime. These children are really talented! :)
In a nut shell, it is a good day with interesting experiences and happy moments. That's all, good bye. Have a nice day everyone. :)

Lady In Red.

A couple month ago, my English teacher assigned us to write a story book.
At last, I ended up with writing this short story.
Haha,, It's a little bit childish. But since it's the first story that I ever wrote, feeling want to post it in my blog.
So, here is it.

Lady in Red – by Wendy Tong J

The little red riding hood, Rosalinda, had grown up, she is still living with her grandma.  She lives in an old house in a countryside which is located at up of the hill with her grandma. Around the hill, there’re full of bushes.  Time past, she had grown into a mature girl. In her countryside also lives a handsome guy with his father who is a hunter. They two live in the countryside for 16 years but they never met. Until one day..   

                “Jackson, we have been hunting together for such a long time. Do you learn any hunting skills from me?" The hunter said to his son. 

                "Of course I did, Dad. I had learned a lot of hunting skills and techniques from you. I could do so if you assigned me to go hunting by myself! I mean, ALONE." Jackson said to his father with a smile on his face.

                "Well, seem you’re very self-confidence, now I’m giving you a test. Before the sun goes down, as long as you succeed to capture a live tiger back, what else, I have to admit your ability. “Said by the hunter.

                "Okay, no problem. I’ll prove to you that I can do it!" Jackson seem very confident to himself.

After handing the hunting tools to Jackson, Jackson’ dad went down of the hill. 

                Jackson began hunting in the forest.

On the other hand, Rosalinda was enjoying seeing the roses that have been cultivated by her in her housing estates. 

                "Oh, such a beautiful rose that I have ever seen! " Rosalinda was very glad her rose plant was growing well.

Out of the blue,

               "Be careful!" a hand pushed her from her back to the ground. She was unconscious after her head had hit the floor. 

                "Miss, are you okay? Wake up please!" Jackson felt guilty and helpless seeing Rosalinda lying on the floor staying unconscious.  

                In Rosalinda’s dream, she could hear that someone was keep calling for her. 

She slowly opened her eyes, and saw a handsome guy in front of her. There was a dead tiger beside her too.

"Oh gosh, what was happening?" Rosalinda thought. Curiosity filled her heart.

"Miss, I am so sorry. I saw the tiger was going to attack you just now, I am forced to push you from danger, I never mean to hurt you.  I’m really sorry. " Jackson said to Rosalinda, feeling guilty. 

"It’s okay, I’m alright." Rosalinda smiled to Jackson.

It was the day how Rosalinda and Jackson have been to each other, falling in love with each other. After that, Jackson always went up to the hill just want to see Rosalinda. Well, dating with her.

                Grandma started feeling something wrong.

                “Something sure is happening to Rosalinda, she never been so happy before. No matter what, I have to figure it out. I never allow that thing to HAPPEN. ” Grandma thought in her heart.

                “Rosalinda, what’s up? You are different recently. What is happening?” Grandma asked Rosalinda, she was eager to listen to her granddaughter answer.

                “Grandma, I’m been dating with a guy named Jackson. He’s a hunter and he’s very nice to me. “Rosalinda can’t hide her happy feeling.

                “Rosalinda, I’m not agreeing.  I have something serious to tell you. “

                “What is it? Grandma, I’m 16 years old. I think I’m big enough to date a guy.” Rosalinda seemed unhappy with her grandma respond.

                “You said that guy who is currently dating with you named Jackson, right?” Grandma asked Rosalinda with a strict face.

                “Yea, his father is a hunter.” Rosalinda replied.

                “Listen to me, Ros. You are not allowed to date with that guy. You can’t.”

                “Why? He’s a nice guy. I was falling in love with him. You have no right to call me to leave him!” Rosalinda was very furious.

                “Rosalinda! Listen to me! I’m sorry to tell you this but there’s no choice, you have to know it. Jackson is a werewolf, he will hurt you. “Grandma replied.

                “Grandma, what werewolf? Are you kidding me? What are you talking about?” Rosalinda had no idea what her grandma was talking about, she thought that her grandma was totally lost out of her mind.

                “I’m telling you the truth, as you know I’m a witch. I could see whether a person is really a human being or other creatures. You have to believe me, he’s a werewolf. You guys will never able getting together.” Grandma said.

Hot tears streamed down from Rosalinda eyes, she can’t accept the truth. It’s so cruel to her.

That night, grandma was not around. She went to town to buy some things. Before she left, she warned Rosalinda not to go outside at night and remember to put on the red hood all the time. Rosalinda was very curious. It’s been 16 years. Every year there’s always the same day which is full-moon day that she was not allowed to go outside and always has to put on the red hood. She has no idea what was it for, she just do whatever her grandma call her to do, she did not dare to ask.

Jackson came to see her.  At the beginning, she refused to see him.

“Ros, why do you refuse to see me? Am I did something wrong? I would apologize to all of my mistakes!” Jackson shouted outside of her house.

Eventually, she came out to see him. She told everything that her grandma told her.

“What’re you talking about, Ros? I’m a werewolf? I never transform into a wolf before. Stop kidding me please. “Jackson did not believe Rosalinda saying.

“It’s true. My grandma is a witch. She know everything about werewolf, she said she could see a werewolf shadow behind you. “Rosalinda’s face crumpled up when she said to Jackson. She burst into tears.  

“What? This is so crazy!” Jackson cried.

Two of them keep crying for their fate. They have no choice but to be separated. They hugged each other and keep crying and crying, Rosalinda had forgotten her grandma warning.

It was full-moon.

“Ah!!!!! My body is aching!” Pain seared through her, unlike anything she’d ever known.

“Ros, are you okay? What’s happening??” Jackson cried out.

After that, Rosalinda had no idea what she did. She had killed Jackson.

“I’m a werewolf!! I’m the one who is the real werewolf!! Why?? I have killed the one I love!! Why??!! Why did grandma lie to me???” Rosalinda yelled at the sky.

At the same time, grandma had come back home, she saw the scene that she never ever want to see in her life. The secret is revealed.

Rosalinda was totally lost her mind. She yelled at her grandma furiously, asking her for the truth.

The truth is, Rosalinda is not a werewolf, and she is a hybrid. Her parents are vampire and werewolf. Her dad is the werewolf where her mum is the vampire. Her parents have to die as they break the rule, vampires will never fall in love with werewolf. Before they die, they left their baby, Rosalinda to the witch grandma. They warned grandma never allow Rosalinda to transform into hybrid, the only solution to prevent her to transform is to ensure her wearing a red hood during full-moon night. If grandma fail to do so, she has to die too.

After grandma telling Rosalinda the truth, blood splitting out of her mouth. Grandma had died as she failed to prevent Rosalinda from transforming into hybrid. Rosalinda cannot accept the cruel truth. Her heart is full of hatred and hates, she had changed. She left the countryside without anyone knows.

Years have flown in the twinkling of an eye, there’re rumors that a lady which is in red killed anybody that she met, with a red hood on her head.

A trip to Perlis.

The day before yesterday, my family and I went to Perlis.
You think that we went to travel?
of course nope! :)
There's a small and 'Malayssss' village, and we were hardly find a restaurant.
There's full of Malay stalls and Mamat stalls.
As everyone knows, Malay food is all about curries, chickens, chilies and sambai.
It's all about fatty and spicy food, ex: [chicken curry]  =D
Everyday we ate chicken curries, I scared in this holiday I will go fatter and fatter. =D
Oops, out of the topic. ; D
actually we went to Perlis is to fetch my sister to Kolej Matrikulasi Arau, Perlis.
She is going to study at there for one year,
but if she get the teacher training offer, she will quit.
On Sunday, we reached there at about 11.50 something.
From here Sungai Petani to there Perlis, travel for 2 hours can reach there already.
We checked in the Motel that we booked before.
At first, we wanna to check-in in a hotel called Everyone's Hotel.
[ weird name ] :)
But all the rooms have been booked by other passengers.
Oh no, it's a very nice and awesome hotel although its' name is very weird. =D
But we can't do anything, haiz...
After that, we found a motel called MLC Motel.
It's very clean, but.....
It's too SMALL for 4 of us!
But the shop owner and his wife are very kind.
They also think that the small room cannot afford 4 of us,
and they let us to go to their own house to sleep.
[ their house is just upstairs ] =D
yea, the room in their house is more bigger and comfortable.
after that we went to Padang Besar to shopping.
Oh my goodness! At first I thought is a shopping mall but,
it's a place for Malays to open their stalls to sell bags or souvenirs.
at there is congested by peoples and many peoples are smokers!
Oh no, I can't stand for the cigarette smoke!
I just wonder why all of these cigarette smokers do not take care of their bodies.
Cigarettes will harm and danger our body.  =(
But never mind, that's their own business, : X
I bought a beautiful bag, at least I don't go back home with empty-handed.=D
The next morning, is the day that the Kolej Matrikulasi Arau open for registration.
There's dormitory for the students.
The dormitory is quite okay la..
I mean quite okay for me if I am the one who need to live at there. =D
After helping my sister cleaning and furnishing for hours,
it's time that we leave.
My sister and I never separate for so long time.
Yesterday night I slept alone.
That's my first time that I sleep ALONE.
Jie jie, I gonna miss you so much! T,T =D

I'm sure that Human LOVE to talk or complain about others behind their backs, as the world became so materialistic and realistic.
But I do not mean everyone, but I'm sure that every one sure got do that once.
Yea, who're we??
We're human!
Every person has mistakes , except Jesus.
I have mistake too~
Oh, not mistake, is mistakessssss!
Before, my favorite hobbies was including complain about others behind their backs.
Don't you think it was FUN?
say other peoples' bad things behind them,
talk about their imperfection and defect,
that is absolutely fun and the best activity to while away time.
But after some incidents happened,
I think that's too bad talking about others behind them.
They can also talk about us behind our backs.
Before my mum always scolded me that we should not do that and we must learn from our mistakes.
But I was always telling myself that that's not my fault.
I was Born This Way.
But right now I know that that's definitely wrong!
We can choose ourselves that which character you wanna be.
It's pretty hard and difficult to rectify ourselves, but we must do that.
Before, I'll get angry and upset if my friends don't want to let me know about something although it is about other peoples' stuff.
But now I realized that that's so meaningless and such a waste for time.
It doesn't affect my life if I don't know others' things.
And now I don't feel anything as they talk secretly at there although I can see that they are talking about me.
I try all my best to avoid to talk behind others' backs and study as the examination is approaching!
And now the problem it is.
There was some incidents happened between my friends.
They had a quarrel and the quarrel is getting worse now.
I really don't want to know anything about it because I don't side any body and I don't want to involve in this quarrel.
And now A group think that I was siding B Group.
I'm trying so hard to avoid it but I'm still implicated.
They thought I'm a spy.
That's so silly and funny, how could I became a spy without eavesdropping what they are talking about?
i called one of my friends explain to them.
I said I have no comment in this incident and I really don't side anybody.
They don't believe me, and they said I have changed.
If you guys still don't believe me, I also can't do anything.
never mind, it doesn't matter if you guys don't believe me,
God know who is innocent and who is the bad person,
and God will punish the bad person.
Actually I really don't want to talk about this but I can't stand for it and I just wanna let you guys know.
Actually I knew everything that you guys talked about me and my family,
but I don't disperse it as I don't want to ruin our friendship.
and yes,  I know you are still criticize me although you're now seem like want to friend me again.
But it really doesn't matter, I really don't care.
Because ' you are just a nonentity in my eyes. '
I won't angry of you because I don't care about what are you talking about behind my back,
I really don't care.  =)
So, keep going and complain about me,
Let me know what's my wrong,
so I can fix it, thank you very much. n,n

Today Wushu practice will be started! Nervous! =)
I am the assistance of the wushu treasurer.
And I have taken the responsibility to collect all the fees and money!

Oh yea, and the other things, I have a quite of long time didn't exercise already!
My bones already get rusty! : D

My Birthday =P

My birthday is on 1st of February, that's mean it was over for two days already! ^^

I am so busy in these few days and I have no time to update my blog. 

but I wish to share to you guys.. =D 

That day I just went to school as usual.. 

after that nothing special, but after the school break, 

suddenly MJ said 'Everybody sing Happy Birthday song ' to Wendy! 

Oh no, and they sang Birthday song for me..

I am so embarrassing, finally I know MJ's feeling.. hahahax.. =D 

At the night, my dad came back very early.. 

Usually he goes back home at about 10.00 p.m (because so many works he needs to do)

but that day he went back home at 7.55 p.m because of me. ^^ 

Afterward, we went to a Western store at Taman Sejati.. 

Any occasion but not at all ,

we celebrate at there because the Western store's food is Super Awesome! =P

my sister called me to sit down and holding the knife and wait. 

and she went to the kitchen. 

She spent quite a long time in the kitchen and I have nothing to do..

woohoo!!! It's the 2nd day of Chinese New Year!
eh, no no.. is 3nd day of Chinese New Year, now is already 2.23 morning. 
 I really love Chinese New Year because I can meet all of lovely cousins and relatives during this celebration!
but unfortunately, my sister was infected with denggi - nyamuk denggi.
I don't know she been bited and she is now in Metro to been monitored.
I am so sad because she can't party with us during the celebration.

Oh yea, I just back from Village Mall Grand Cinema.
haha.. first time watch movie in cinema in the midnight.
We went to watch 'Underground 3D'.
I had no idea what the movie wanted to say to us.
and the ending is..... I don't know how to describe it.
erm... it ended to fast and unmeaningly.
but never mind, just for fun ha...
It is too late now, it's 2.31 a.m ..
need to wake up early tomorrow,

Yesterday CM and me went to Tze Ting's house to do the background that we want to post on the school bulletin board.
This is it! =)

We spent 3 hours to cut and fix the paper,

and I spent more 1 hour 30 minutes to do that word of 'WUSHU' .

Last year, my Sivik teacher teach us to do a handicraft like floor mat by using paper.
and I did this to my sister when she was facing SPM examination. =)

Busy 2012 ^^

This morning I went to SMK Batu Lima, Jeniang to take part in Table Tennis KMY Competition. 

I went to school as usual this morning.

Shi Qi and her brother, Jin Yao , Wee Kie and me waited at the school parking lot for Pn. Tan arrival. 

( -Jin Yao is over form 5 and he had nothing to do at home, so he went there with us- )

I thought Pn. Tan will drive her old 'Kancil' to fetch us,

but luckily she drive new car, hahaha.. =D 

After taking the form and schedule of the competition, we started our journey to Jeniang. 

It was kinda boring in the car because Pn. Tan always talk to Jin Yao all along the journey and we went too far and we missed the school! 

Oh no! That time was already 9.00 a.m!

The competition started! 

Pn. Tan quickly U-turn her car and we reached that school at 9.15 a.m 

When we reached there, it is quite a coincidence, they called our name when we reached there.

OMG, I quickly drop my beg, and I played the games without drinking water and warming up. 

Fortunately, my opponent in the first round is not very powerful and I win in the first round. 

Without break, I went to Round 2.

OMG again, this time my opponent is one of the Kedah Team players. 

How can I win? Every balls she kick-off screw ball! (Screw ball is a type of skill that made the opponent difficult to catch the ball )

and I lose.. actually I felt non of disappointment or sadness,

it was a good experience I think. =)

and I met my former Ping Pong teacher !

I said halo to her and she introduced me to the Sin Kwang junior. 

haha... =D   

Before we went back to S.P, Pn. Tan treated us at a Kopitiam at Gurun. 

and I ate 'Economy rice' - 经济饭.. Yummy Yummy. ^^  

All of us was tired, and everybody slept in the car. 

Oh yes, except Pn. Tan, because she needed to drive ma. =D 

We reached school at about 1. 24 p.m like that.

Although I didn't win in this competition, but I felt so happy that I had this opportunity to go to that competition. 

Pn. Tan wanted us to practice more and more. 

So this year really is a busy year !

Yesterday I went to scout meeting, and I learned how to march and I was so nervous when our scout leader, Zhi Sheng came to see us. 

I did do much wrong, never mind, I will practice harder. : )

da dang, this is what I look wearing scout uniform. ^^

halo 2012 ^^

Halo, what a long time didn't update my blog already ^^ 

I haven't update my blog since year 2012 started. 

actually I am too busy since this new year start and I have no time to update my blog.. 

busy with tuition, homework, study and other stuffs. 

I think this year - 2012 will be a BUSY year. 

We are having PMR this year!! 

oh no, we have to work harder and harder to get a good result in PMR examination.

PMR is very important as it decide our class in form 4 & 5. 

when I was form 1 & 2, everyday I was just daydream in the class. 

haiz.. I'm so regret now. T,T

so this year I will work as hard as I could to realize all my 'Target 2012'!

yea, here are my year 2012 target, so far. =)

Target ^^ 

♥ of course is get 8A in PMR examination ! 

♥ be Top 15 whole classes next examination ! 

♥ be taller ! (don't laugh at me ^^)

♥ get A in Geografi ! (my Geografi is too bad)

♥ get 100 marks in Science ! (I ♥ Science)

♥ speak English fluently ! 

♥ sleep early ! (sleep early is difficult to me as I have a habit of sleeping late)

♥ get my art skill better ! (strong passion to water colors and poster colors ^^)

♥ get blue tie in wushu examination ! 

 

so far these are my target 2012, I sure will realize it ! YEAH! ^.^

Last Day in year 2011 ^^

This morning, I went back school again to buy some books for next year..

Before going to the school, my mum out of sudden not feeling well.. =(

So my dad said that have a check at Metro is better.. 

after dropping me in the school, my dad and mum went to Metro.. 

after buying our books, Hui Shian and me get on MJ's car to go to Hui Shian;s house.. 

We suggested to watch movies.. 

Then Hui Shian took out a horror movie.. forget the movie title already... 

The movie is about five girls went to a cave for adventures.. 

but unfortunately they met monsters..(The monsters are really disgusting!) 

and 3 died, 2 alive.. 

one of the girls succeed escaped from the cave.. 

The polices bought her back to the cave to find the other 4 friends.. 

and all of them met the monsters and everybody died..

left a policewoman.. 

I watched the movie just until half I called Hui Shian to take out the CD~

I don't want to see! It's really bloody disgusting..

First time I watch movies watch until feeling like really want to VOMIT !! 

okay.. stop talking about the movie,

let talk about happy things.. =D  

Wow! Tomorrow = Next Year already..

That's mean today is the lasy day in year 2011!!! =D 

Gonna count down ALONE in my own house.. haiz.. Joelyn, call me ^^

I hope next year will better than this year!

Next year is I have to face PMR examination already!! 

need to work harder and harder!!  =D

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!  =P
